Lobethal is located along the south coast of Western Australia, approximately 100 km east of Esperance and 30km south of Beaumont.

Lobethal covers approximately 12,747 arable hectares. Average annual rainfall is almost 550mm, with 70% falling during the crop growing season (April – October).
